Last Updated: May 17, 2025
Welcome to HelpMeV! We are a peer-to-peer listing platform that connects EV owners with independent drivers offering mobile charging services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HelpMeV platform and services, and your agreement with HELPMEV Inc., a corporation registered in the State of Delaware, operating primarily in California and throughout the United States.
By accessing or using HelpMeV, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Platform Overview
HelpMeV provides a digital listing and matching service. It allows:
- Users (EV owners) to post requests for mobile charging.
- Independent Drivers to respond and offer charging services.
HelpMeV is not a transportation or charging service provider. It does not employ drivers or control the services they perform. All interactions and transactions occur directly between users and drivers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering legally binding agreements under applicable U.S. and California law to use HelpMeV.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use HelpMeV. When registering:
- Provide accurate and current information.
- Keep your credentials secure.
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized activity.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these Terms.
4. How the Service Works
- Users post a request to have their EV charged.
- Drivers view and respond to requests.
- Users and drivers communicate directly to coordinate the service.
HelpMeV is not involved in the execution of the service and does not guarantee fulfillment, safety, or satisfaction.
5. Identity and Credential Verification
HelpMeV does not currently verify users' or drivers' identities, driver's licenses, vehicle insurance, or any other documentation.
We are developing verification features, but until then, it is the user's responsibility to verify any necessary credentials before sharing access to a vehicle (including Tesla key-sharing).
By using HelpMeV, you acknowledge that you engage with other users at your own risk.
6. Privacy and Data Use
- We do not share personal contact details (e.g., phone numbers, email) between users and drivers.
- We do store and display pickup locations provided by users to allow drivers to assess requests.
- Do not post private or sensitive information in public request fields.
- HelpMeV complies with applicable U.S. data protection laws, including California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) obligations.
See our full Privacy Policy for more information.
7. Payments
- HelpMeV does not collect or process payments.
- Customers and drivers are solely responsible for agreeing on and executing payment terms.
- Customers must pay drivers directly the amount listed in the request or as otherwise agreed.
- We do not offer escrow, refunds, or transaction support.
8. Service Availability
HelpMeV currently operates in California and is expanding within the U.S. Service availability depends on local driver activity. We do not guarantee that any request will be fulfilled or that drivers will be available at a given time.
9. Cancellations and Disputes
- You may cancel a request before a driver confirms or begins en route.
- All service issues, delays, no-shows, or disputes must be resolved between you and the other party.
- HelpMeV does not mediate disputes and does not issue refunds.
10. User Conduct
By using the platform, you agree:
- To act respectfully and responsibly.
- Not to misrepresent yourself or your vehicle.
